This lesson was a TON of fun! We learned how to create wounds, holes, scars, and scratches. Tania of course took advantage of MUFE’s wonderful products and went ahead and turned Joanne into a zombie.

I was more boring, and I was really planning on a Poison Ivy-inspired look, so I just created a few veins. Hahah.

Ooze, baby, ooze.

Creating unsightly bullet wounds wasn’t Ms. Yuki’s favorite thing to do, but she was awesome at it. Hahah.

Here’s Tania, all smiles and pride, standing over Joanne the Corpse.

Here’s Lourey as a… plant… creature… thing.

Lourey has to sacrifice her neck every now and then so I can take pictures of her.

Do you know what I miss? Taking pictures of myself. YEAH, THAT’S RIGHT. I SAID IT.

  1. Whoa, I love the corpse makeup! That is seriously awesome. You know, one of my biggest dreams in life is to become a special effects MUA and do makeup for horror movies. I don’t know if I can make a real living doing that in the Philippines, but I’d like to take a class just the same. Does your makeup school offer a program specifically for special effects? 🙂

    1. IKR! Hahah.

Unfortunately, Maquillage Professionnel does not offer special effects courses. We were just given an introduction and were taught how to use the products. Also, I actually think that special effects makeup artistry is a pretty lucrative career here! For one thing, there isn’t a lot of competition.

      Thanks for commenting!
