Apparently, my skin has lightened up kind of a lot. My Chanel Pro Lumiere is a tad too dark for me at the moment. Nevertheless, click below for a very simple face featuring one of MUFE’s newer products, the Aqua Liner.

This look was very easy and simple as I had no plans of spending more than two hours wearing it. I decided to go to Fete dela Musique on the drive home and ended up wearing my makeup the entire night. To my surprise, the eye liner wore amazingly, even with the humidity and the horrific dancing I did. There was still a little bit of smudging, but truth be told, that could have also been due to the non-waterproof mascara I was wearing.
I have no pictures at the festival. This is purely self-indulgence.

Once in a while, my friends and I like to do themed parties. This was the second time we’d done a drag queen party, which was basically just an excuse for everyone to come in whatever the hell they wanted, whether or not it was in drag.
Me, I just wore my favorite black dress and a feather boa. I made up for it by doing my makeup drag queen style though!

Our last session was filled with tears and laughter. NAT!
Basically, it was just like any other session, except that the knowledge of it being the last one forced me to think about how I’d improved and what else I needed to work on.
For one thing, I’ve accepted that though some people might have generally better skin than mine, they might not have as defined a crease as I do. I and my Asian sistahs and brothahs often have almond-shaped eyes, which can be pretty challenging (especially when doing a cat eye), but at least my crease doesn’t fold over my lid and I have a decent amount of lid space. I hate to brag, but I guess you gotta take some pride in at least one of your physical attributes somehow! Especially when most days, you kind of… dislike the rest of your face. Hahah.
ANYHOO, Lourey was my model.

This lesson was a TON of fun! We learned how to create wounds, holes, scars, and scratches. Tania of course took advantage of MUFE’s wonderful products and went ahead and turned Joanne into a zombie.
I was more boring, and I was really planning on a Poison Ivy-inspired look, so I just created a few veins. Hahah.

It was Sir Mio Robo who taught us that day as Ms. Yuki was teaching another class. I have no idea why this was the arrangement, but I didn’t mind all that much because Sir Mio was a good teacher as well.

Who knows? The techniques I learned that day may be useful in the future! If I somehow suddenly decide to go into theater makeup, that is.

Where is Day 8, you ask? Still in the studio’s memory card because they wouldn’t let me borrow their computer to get the photos.
HOWEVER, today’s lesson was by far the most fun for me. We were asked to bring pegs for theme bridal makeup. I picked Bollywood bridal and came up with my most favorite look yet. I think it’s all the warm colors that really get me excited.
INNUENDOOOOO.
Couldn’t have done it without another one of my gorgeous friends, Aleli.

If I hadn’t been so indecisive, I could’ve worked faster and been able to accessorize! Ah, well, I think I did well, if I may say so myself.
The Snow Queen/Ice Princess look is definitely one of my favorites. I have a feeling I will be redoing this, except with more bling! Enjoy! Don’t forget to view below the cut for more pictures!
